We are pleased to welcome to Li\u00e8ge three experts in the field of\u00a0technical documentation, translation project management and terminological work<\/strong>. Using as their starting point their work at\u00a0La vie<\/em>\u00a0in Aix-la-Chapelle (which produces technical documents of all kinds, especially user manuals for computer software), they will present several occupational niches that are open both to translation students and to experienced translators who’d like to expand their offer of services. This may give you a better idea of the day-to-day life of a technical writer\/translator: Where do we find the information we need to write documents in a source language and how do we handle it? How do we prepare and write these documents? How do we translate these documents and the software they accompany?<\/p>\n
