Artificial intelligence, the economic climate and the national and international political landscape are creating major challenges to the long-term sustainability of our profession. Today, many interpreters are wondering whether they will be able to make a living from interpreting in the years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To shed light on this question, <strong>the Bureau of the CBTI-BKVT Interpreters\u2019 Forum invites you to take part in this anonymous 16-question survey: <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSet-KuQhbN6ZWNgGCuwABCpVHIimEHk1zDmQwVcbU3YcfOLCQ\/viewform?usp=publish-editor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSet-KuQhbN6ZWNgGCuwABCpVHIimEHk1zDmQwVcbU3YcfOLCQ\/viewform?usp=publish-editor<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this study, the Bureau&nbsp;aims to determine whether, in 2026, interpreters can still make a decent living solely from interpreting. The aim is to establish whether the concerns expressed by some members of the profession are widely shared and supported by evidence. The results of this study will be shared with our members in order to provide an overview of the current state of the profession.
